She totally makes this movie for me. I think she was the best thing in it. She has this cool kinda raspy voice too, which is so unique. Great actress. Definitely check out THE STEPFATHER too. That was a really creepy movie!

I was flipping through the Direct TV channel guide and saw Jill Schoelen's name. She's the only reason why I bothered with this movie. She's the only good actor in this. Everyone else was awful, even Brad.

I think she made the film for me...too bad the rest was so ridiculous and badly directed, at least I had some eye-candy...Especially the scene at the beginning and when she is modelling for the art class!
While watching it, I kept thinking "THIS GUY is Brad Pitt?" he seemed so nobody-ish...nothing too special about him. Strange he became a star.

She was kind of an interesting actress. She had a real wholesome "girl-next-door" quality to her, but she was also just about the cutest girl you could possibly imagine ever living next door to you. Her voice was very distinctive--I don't know if "raspy" is the right adjective to describe it. I don't know if there IS an adjective to describe it
I never could figure out if she was really a good actress or if she was just so damn appealing that nobody ever really cared. She very convincingly played a virginal teenager in "The Stepfather", but then she took her clothes off for that gratuitous shower scene (Wow!). This was kind of exploitative for her role too (there were so many gratuitous shots of her butt in this movie that it should really have received its own credit), but she was actually more of a "scream queen" in the Jamie Lee Curtis mold than the Linnea Quigley mold. She appeared mostly in high-quality horror movies rather than popping her top in every piece of genre dreck imaginable. She is definitely missed.

You guys should also check out Jill in When a Stranger Calls Back. Very underrated film, definitely surpasses the first one and Jill does a terrific job.
The first twenty minutes alone make the film worth seeking out, however it does retain a lot of suspense after the story jumps ahead a few years, unlike the first one, which is still a great film.

Yes, Jill was what made watching Cutting Class worthwhile. I had also seen The Stepfather, When a Stranger Calls Back, and The Phantom of the Opera. Jill was a good actress. She had a fresh face and natural style, and managed to be very attractive without being really beautiful.
Yeah, her performance was probably the one legitimately good part of this movie. I really liked her <3
