Nancy McKeon and Dale Midkiff

IMO Nancy McKeon and Dale Midkiff should both have at least gotten Emmy and Golden Globe Nominations for their performances in this tv movie. This movie kind of reminds me in a way of The Burning Bed. Nancy McKeon was just as good if not maybe better than Farrah Fawcett, same for Dale Midkiff compared to Paul Le Mat.

I agree too! Just saw it yesterday for the first time. VERY good performances.

Dale was going off in this movie! I've never seen him like that before. Nancy was good.

***Rest in Peace Nick Ashford, you will live on through your musical legacy***

I couldn't agree more. Farrah and Paul did a fine job in the roles they were portraying. It seems to me that Buck Thurman was more of a straight-up psycho than maybe Mickey Hughes was. Dale Midkiff was simply awesome. He is so believable in every role he plays.

Dale must be a pretty good actor if he really made you believe that he was this psychotic wife-beater. Just like Larry Fishburne- to this day I still think of him as Ike Turner. Or like Danny Glover- I will always see him as Mister.
