Obviously the son has already started developing insensitivies -- even tho his mother said it was hard for her to peel the apple, he wanted it anyway. Little brat.

My mom (rightfully) made us eat things like they were, no 'strained orange juice' or such nonsense that her friends' parents would do!
If someone has a problem eating something, that's different.
But otherwise...eat your food kid.

shareaccording to my family, i was never was a brat and neither was my son. in fact, people teachers, friends, family and strangers who would see him at a restaurant would comment on how polite and well behaved he was. In fact my dr. said that he was a model patient. when he was in 7th grade a teacher asked him and me if they could clone him. my son laughed and said thank you for the compliment, but you know a copy is never as good as the original. he is going to high school in the fall and he is the sweetest person I ever met. I'm blessed to be his Mom and blessed to be his friend. he says that I'm his best friend
