Spoiler: Implausibility of Pivotal Scene

He goes to the Scene of the Crime (Understandable-because of his Guilty feelings, Shock and Disbelief) and Angelica's Character looks like she's Passed Out-but very much Alive.

He went to the scene of the crime to take all the stuff that can connect her murder to him (gifts, letters, etc.)

She was supposed to be dead, maybe you caught a moment where she looked like breathing but she was supposed to be dead, so in the best case, it's a goof but hardly an implausibility in the narrative.
