More artistic movies like this?

I really really enjoyed this film, its utterly stunning, full of symbolisms and shot with great art lust.

Are there any more recommendations ?

Have you seen 'City of Lost Children' or 'Delicatessan'? If you liked the look of this movie, I think you would enjoy them as well

You may also have a look at "The Tin Drum" (Die Blechtrommel, 1979, Germany) an almost surreal masterpiece

You might also try The Fall, Reflecting Skin, Diabel (The Devil) and i suppose even Rumble Fish.

Try Greenaway's 'Baby Of Macon' http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0106335/
It's his best film. 'Art' oozes out of every frame!

I'd recommend The Holy Mountain and Santa Sangre, two of Jodorowsky's best.

Terry Gilliams "Brazil", not as violent but definately twisted and surreal.

"La Grande Bouffe" and Peter Greenaway's "8 1/2 Women"

I see that nobody's mentioned Dogville. I'm sure it's because it's a famous movie, that everyone has seen, but just in case somebody who's reading this hasn't, there you go. My recommendation.
