What a terrible soundtrack..

One of the few good moments this movie had was when that blonde bastard took a beating in between his high notes. Easily one of the worst soundtracks of all-time, which seemed to be done on purpose. Bravo on that accomplishment.

Hmm, I'm in complete and utter disagreement with you.

I loved the soundtrack and the composer (Nyman) is extremely successful in his field.

reply

Ok, but I didn't like it. *insert pop artist name here* also has success in their field. Do you like all pop? No? Didn't think so.

reply

Interesting reaction. When I saw this in the theaters as a young college music student the soundtrack really made an impression on me, and I especially remember trying to memorize portions of it for later (pre-internet, at the mercy of the record shop). This movie introduced me to Nyman's compositions.

I'm not confused that someone could be annoyed by the soundtrack, but I love it ... and think you're a bad person

Your whole post clearly illustrates movies like this are not for you.

It was certainly different, even the whole film was quite different.

However, Fish Beach must be one of the most beautiful compositions ever made:

And I'm an old school techno head.

I disagree, there is one song that kind of hits you, with her low voice, the one where the woman sings when Albert throws out the people to make room in his restaurant..!
