Criterion release

All those reds and whites certainly would look nice in a bluray criterion edition

This film demands a deluxe treatment. It's strange that it is so ignored, the film was enormously popular when released - it's by far Greenaway's most accessible film, yet there is no decent release despite his other films getting good Blu Rays.

UK has an upcoming Blu Ray release, but not really a special edition or anything like that

It's on Filmstruck right now. Maybe an indicator of a future release?
