Tab Hunter decapitation?....

Was Tab Hunter really decapitated during the filming of this movie? Why did they keep that scene in the movie? Why did the one guy kidnap the kid--and then take the kid back to his own house--to confront the demon? Why doesn't anyone care that one of the detectives on the case--in which two fathers of the kid and his uncle have been gruesomely killed--is missing? Why isn't there any suspicion about the kid--again, two fathers and an uncle were killed when the kid was around. What does the telepathy have to do with old demons and why is one of the demons living in closets? Why would a demon from hell live in a closet of a kid with telepathy? Why do the lead male actors look like porn stars? Why is the mom an alcoholic? How much did they pay Tab Hunter to be in this thing?
