I jumped quite a few times

It's not very often that a movie makes me jump. But there were a few times that I jumped pretty good. I haven't seen the movie for quite a few years. I wonder if it would have the same effect on me now, as it did then?

I must say that this movie was ok..i mean it was watchable...although some of the fx were bad it had a decent plot. and it looked like it was made in the 70s rather than the late 80s..... i thought when camerons dad got his head cut off was quite funny as well. I mean how perfect was it that the knife was upright when he slipped? I wouldnt watch this again unless th ere was nothing else on or i was drunk then it might be even more funny.

Yeah the guy in the closet was his stepdad, his eyes got burnt and he was thrown out the window. A few days later, when the detectives are examining his room, they pull back some clothes in his closet and there he is again. His mouth stretches in that hideous grin, that part was really the only scary part in the movie and it was only for a moment.

That's encouraging to read. I haven't seen this one yet, but since I just picked it up. I might pop it on tonight.

I have this movie on VHS. I like it a lot ..I think it is pretty scary actually.

Sure this film was low budget and not very well known, but it is definately one of the best horrors of the 1980s

This doesn't even come close to being a good horror movie, but it IS entertaining! So many hilariously stupid scenes, but the scene of the eyeless smiling guy in the closet scared the piss out of me.

That part didn't make me jump, but boy did I find that part, especially the grin, creepy.
