Am I the only one who noticed the incest scene thrown in? The mother said that guy with the surfer mustache was her brother and then she (the demon that looked like her) starts seducing him in the shower before killing him. Kind of crazy for an '80s movie.... Maybe they were hoping we would forget their relation!

But I guess that's what the script said - look mildly shocked and go with it....
The Diabolical love that kinda *beep* and Devils are immensely powerful,it probably looked into the Brothers past and noticed that he had a secret boner for his Sister back when they were young teenagers.By using this method,the Demon scored twice....he corrupted the man's soul and spilled blood in one fell swoop.Like I said,this is the kinda weird *beep* the Infernal get off on.

shareIt's clear, at that moment, we're meant to believe he was attracted to his sister.
It just seems like the idea comes from left field because that aspect of the character was never revealed until that point in time.
Call it bad writing or perhaps it was just there to surprise the audience.
