How strange is that?

The role that Casey Siemaszko plays as a burglar reminds of this kid I use to know. He loved going into people's houses and taking everything he could. He's also the splitting image and has the same personality as Siemaszko plays in the movie. It was really weird watching this movie because it was like the guy I know was in the movie.

In addition I'm no Burt Reynolds fan but he was good in this movie. As a burglar he's very likable and there's no BS in him. Don't get me wrong I hate
anyone who steals but I think we all root for the bad guys.

We root for the bad guy, until he steals from US! lol.

I liked what Burt did with the role. He wasn't a tough guy for a change (although he could be no-nonsense when he had to be). His Ernie was very fastidious and meticulous. He was almost a prude. You get the impression that Ernie might have been a school teacher if he'd gone straight.

A real life comparison might be Blane David Nordahl. He was a cat-burgler known for being extremely fastidious and organized. I guess you have to be. This job is all about details.

You may walk on the beach, you may swim in the ocean... under SWAT team surveillance, of course.
