Just when you think that the horrors of the VA's that we witnessed in

the movie could be the worst that was possible we have what is happening now. We treat those men and women who have protected us and who have fought for us as if they were our worst enemies. We should be ashamed.

We should be ashamed? I'm not ashamed of anything, I didn't send them to war and I don't go around treating them like scum. I treat them like regular people which is what they want to be treated like!

The movie paints with too broad a brush. I was a patient in the Phoenix VA Medical Center twice in 1970. Although the wards were on the plain side, the staff and the treatment were top-notch. Don't believe everything you read or see in a movie (especially an Oliver Stone movie), or think that criticisms should be applied to everyone.

What do you mean by "we?" I don't hear about a lot of derision directed toward or mistreatment of military veterans nowadays, but maybe you do. Most of what I hear is "Thank You for your service." Speak for yourself.
