Indictment of "socialized" medicine

It seems to me he really starts getting upset once he is back home and how he is treated at the VA hospital. Uncaring staff, slum-like, dilapidated hospitals under-resourced and antiquated medical equipment, all funded by the taxpayer. This would not be his experience in private hospitals.

thats because VA hospitals get barely any funding from Congress. Even today It's a budgetary failure, and there are people dying on waiting lists.

~ That's much too vulgar a display of power, Karras.

So all you're saying is that more money can fix the problem. If Ron had a lot of money, sure a private hospital would have done better. But so would the government hospital if it had more money. It's not 'socialized' vs. 'unsocialized' medicine. It's 'properly funded' versus 'underfunded' medicine.

It's an indictment of the conservatives who only care about saving money, making money. Universal healthcare is in every industrialized first world country except America. Every healthcare system ranked better than America's are universal healthcare systems that do it better and cheaper. America has a third world healthcare system when it comes to access.

You don't even know the meaning of the words "socialized medicine". You can easily underfund the forgotten and trained to be submissive vets, couldn't get away with it with single payer. But, I doubt you'll educate and stop telling yourself the lies you need to validate and justify voting republican/conservative.
