can't stomach this

I know you shouldn't take action movies too seriously and that you should just lay yourself back and enjoy the ride, and laugh at what's a bit exagerating or unrealistic.
Now I can take james bond, stallone-movies and even freakin McGyver!, but I can't stand this piece of crap!
Counting the seconds from where the pole was thrown? What's the margin of error there? You'd have to start counting exactly when it was thrown, and then go back at the exact same speed, etc etc
And that is only one example.
Running through a field where he has never been before, to look for a boy. And then all the people he kills there. How does he know they are "bad guys"? He might as well have been killing innocent bystanders.
I'd give you more examples but I've been trying to forget this movie. This one is even too unrealistic to be called "dumb".

He's a cyborg you idiot!

I can't stomach your post. You do realize the kid screamed when Slag grabbed him and said "shut up." Nick can hear pretty damn well, but you know, I guess to you the kid screaming and the guy who had just killed his mom's voice popping up would make Nick think it was a bunch of farmers just running around in that cornfield.

For those still reviewing this board...

Blind people are far more capable than Hollywood would generally have us believe. That's why I love this movie.

There are historical accounts of a blind fencing master in the 1600s in England, who taught with considerable success. Not just a swordfighter, but someone who successfully teaches others, despite being blind!!

Suddenly this film don't seem so far-fetched, does it? :-D

This movie WAS the 80s. You can't view it through the lens of today. If you saw it as a 10 year old kid, you would feel differently.

Zatoichi, the blind Samurai, has been part of Japanese legend for centuries. Eyesight is the easiest of the easiest of the senses to deceive, as stage magicians know.
