amazing musical score!

I finally got the soundtrack, and I can't get the music out of my head, much less being unable to stop playing the music. It is so amazing! One of Zimmer's best!

Zimmer is the man. Black Rain is one of the finest.

this and Rain Man pretty much put Zimmer on the map, and in this film his score is an integral part of the movie

The Lion King, Gladiator and The Last Samurai officially propelled Zimmer into the compositional stratosphere! Gladiator's music in particular, as with every aspect of the movie, is a work of perfection for the ages!

The score is really the best thing about the movie, Scott was a great visual director and I wish the script would have been strong.

This is a fun movie, but I really think it had potential to be like a gritty cop masterpiece.

Black Rain's score is one of Zimmer's finest!

Agreed, Zimmer's score is excellent. One of the best
composers imo.

Ugh, it's SO dated. The eighties were not a prime time for music and Zimmer instantly dooms a movie to his era. Just not for the ages.
