A definite trip, definitely not A quality but surely better than many movies in its genre. This film had a very distinct vibe and feel which probably stopped it from going further than it did. Try to get ur hands on it, very entertaining!
"I've seen it all, there is no more to see"
Before I saw LA TERZA MADRE, I thought that despite his decline, Argento would definitely beat this cheap mess of a "film". Now, that the comparison is possible I must say that I found THE BLACK CAT much more entertaining, wonderfully cheesy and overall much more enjoyable. It's rather fascinating how Cozzi managed to capture the feeling of the first two Argento films more adaequately with a ridiculous budget than Argento himself with a moderate one.
shareI feel the same, to me this is the final chapter of the Third Mothers Trilogy. It was surprisingly even better than Inferno in parts.
