Your favourite line?

There's a great line literally every 10 seconds, but one of mine would be..
"Put them in the Iron Maiden!"
"Iron Maiden?!? Excellent!!"

reply

"aww ted, don't be dead dude!"

Later, royal ugly dudes!
OR
Every time they pronounced Socrates "Soh-Krates" or Beethoven "BEETH-OVEN."

Hilarious movies. First is better, though.

I don't read the script. The script reads me.

reply

Billy! You're handling the oddity of time travel with the greatest of ease!

reply

That's my favorite!

69, dudes!

reply

damn you saugoof

i swear to god my line was gonna be

"SIXTY NIIINE DUDES!" i CANT stop saying that lately!!

the other thing i cant stop saying is

"put them in the iron maden!"
*air guitar* which i cant stop doing either by the way
"execute them!"
"booogus..." it KILLS ME everytime!! the way they depressingly say it LOL!

reply

i love the bit where rufus first arrives in the booth, and the only thing ted can think to say is: "do you know when the mongols ruled china?" its hilarious!

reply

Be most excellent to each other.

May the bird of paradise fly up your nose

reply

"Strange things are afoot at the Circle K"

My favorite joke in the movie is one which is implied rather than stated: Bill and Ted are never troubled by time travel paradoxes (such as meeting themselves) because they are just too dumb to realize them!

reply

They're not dumb though. Evidenced by the ease with which they set up time loops. They're mostly just really lazy.

Prof. Farnsworth: Oh. A lesson in not changing history from Mr. I'm-My-Own-Grandpa!

reply

I just love the ridiculousness of Billy the Kid and Socrates hitting on the girls at the mall.
"Hi. I'm Billy and this here's So-crates"
"Socrates"
"And we're from history."

reply

"wanna twinkie genghis khan?"

reply

The two quotes that always kill me are thus:

1.
Ted: "Deacon, do you realize you have stranded one of Europe's greatest leaders in San Dimas?!?"
Deacon: "So? He was a dick!"

And my favorite, of course, is one they cut out on TV:

2.
*Bill and Ted hug each other ecstatically over the fact that Ted isn't dead*
*Both pull back*
*They look at each other in horror*
Bill and Ted (in unison): Fag!

reply

They're pretty much all good, but other than the classic "strange things are afoot at the Circle-K", this line always cracks me up:

Bill, describing ancient Greece: "There were many steps and columns. It was most tranquil."
