Can Tom Petty's "Mary Jane's Last Dance" video be seen as an amalgamation of Tim Burton's works?

Right off the top of my head:
*The dead woman in the video is played by none other than Vicki Vale (Kim Basinger)

*Tom Petty once did an Alice in Wonderland inspired video

*There's dead woman that is dressed in a wedding gown a la Corpse Bride

Following Tom Petty‘s tragic death earlier this week, I got to thinking about the song’s eery, Beetlejuice-esque visual, one of the first clips I ever saw in my life. I was seven at the time, and my older sister Katrina watched MTV nonstop ⎯⎯ you know, during its heyday when the network actually played music videos.
