What franchise has hotter women than the 1989-1997 Batman franchise?

Kim Basinger, Jerry Hall, Michelle Pfeiffer, Cristi Conaway, Lisa Guerrero, Nicole Kidman, Drew Barrymore, Debi Mazar, Uma Thurman, Alicia Silverstone, Elle Macpherson, Vivica Fox, Vendela Thommesson, and Sandra Taylor, and if you count Catwoman as a spin-off movie you can also include Halle Berry, Sharon Stone and Kim Smith.

Far hotter than the average Bond-Woman IMHO, and even better, unlike the average Bond-Woman, most of the aforementioned hot actresses can actually act.

Kim Basinger, Cristi Conaway, Elle MacPherson.

1887??

I thought that 'Batman is a Time-Lord theory' thread was a joke!

All for a box of chocolates...

I'm now editing it. But that was funny.

X-Men
Famke Janssen, Halle Berry, Rebecca Romijn, Kelly Hu, Ellen Page, Jennifer Lawrence, Zoe Kravitz, January Jones, Dania Ramirez, Svetlana Khodchenkova, Tao Okamoto, Sophie Turner, Alexandra Shipp

reply

Apart from Halle Berry and maybe Rebecca Romijn, I don't see the appeal of any of those women. Although it's odd that you choose not to mention Olivia Munn, one of the few other women in those films who is attractive.

But I guess femininity isn't 'in' these days, and those X-Men films are simply reflecting today's trends.

reply

Definitely X-Men for me too.

Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, and My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic fan

reply

The Marvel Cinematic Universe!?

reply

Nope.

I love the MCU but most of the leading ladies aren't all that sexy (although they're mostly very good actresses, and it's actually a good thing that they're not mere eye candy as some of the Burton/Schumacher ladies arguably were). Plus, the sexiest leading lady, Zoe Saldana, is sadly covered in green body paint.

reply

The james bond franchise and the actresses aren't as good as the batman actresses.

reply

Exactly.

And very few of the 007 women are given any distinct personalities and are simply there to be notches on Bond's bed-post.

reply

Star Trek?
Nichelle Nicols, Persis Khambata, Kirstie Alley, Robin Curtis, Catherine Hicks, Kim Catrall, Marina Sirtis, Gates McFadden,

Superman?
Margot Kidder, Valerie Perrine, Sarah Douglas, Pamela Stephenson, Annette O'Toole, Helen Slater, Mariel Hemingway

reply

I don't find any of those Star Trek women sexy, and the Superman women were mostly quite bland too.

But I guess it's all a matter of personal taste.

reply

Kim Basinger, Michelle Pfieffer, Nicole Kidman and Uma Thurman... really stand out the most to me from the 1989-1997 movie franchise and from any other movie series out there. Truly my type of women, both in their striking, sensual looks and daring and dangerous personalities.

Honorable mentions: Cristi Conaway, Debi Mazar and Drew Barrymore.

I'd put Jerry Hall in there...but she's the reason we don't have Anton Furst anymore...so she ain't welcome there.

Because of this, I would have to agree with you, Harv....I can't find any other movie or tv franchise with much hotter women than the 1989-1997 Batman movies.

What do you mean? I haven't heard this association before.

What did she do?

reply

How about the actresses in the Mission: Impossible franchise?

Emmanuelle Beart, Kristin Scott Thomas, Thandie Newton, Keri Russell, Michelle Monaghan, Rebecca Ferguson, Maggie Q, Paula Patton, Léa Seydoux, Jingchu Zhang, Hermione Corfield.

reply

guess if you sectioned each Bond to make it manageable one of them could trump Batman 89-97 (doing it from memory without checking cast list)

Brosnan - 95-02
Goldeneye/Reign of Fire woman, Famke Jannsen, Teri Hatcher, Denise Richard, Braveheart woman, Halle Berry, Rosmin Pike

Moore - 73-85
Jane Seymore, Britt Ekland, Barbara Bach, Lois Childs, Maud Adams, Tanya Roberts

Connery era 62-71/83
Ursula Andress, Honor Blackman, the Thunderball women, Diana Rigg, Jill St John, Kim Basinger, Barbara Carrera

Dalton 87-89
cant remember their names.

Craig 06-
Eva Green, woman from Oblivion, the Skyfall woman, Monica Belluci etc

What did she do?

I believed she and Anton Furst had dated before around the time Batman 1989 was released and she dumped him, and it led to Furst's suicide. However, upon closer inspection after your response...it appears I made a grave error. I heard from someone a long time ago that they were dating and she broke his heart badly and Anton Furst committed suicide as a result of that. So I was always very bitter towards Jerry Hall for a long time.

Now I have come to the realization how wrong I was. It was Beverly D'Angelo that broke his heart and that failed relationship was a factor in Anton Furst's suicide.

I guess maybe now I could put Jerry Hall in there as an honorable mention. But wow...do I feel like a big idiot.

reply

I think Jerry Hall was still married to Mick Jagger at the time.

reply

Most likely she was. But I can't believe how I could be so gullible to such an error like this. I guess cuz she was in the 1989 movie as well, it really stuck with me. Her character in the movie was not someone that many people would even deem a good example for anyone and it didn't help matters.

reply

The Pierce Brosnan James Bond movies.
1, 2 Freddy's coming for you. 3, 4 better lock your door.
