the ending

What was the symbolism of the ending, the driving away of the boar or whatever it was? The expelling of evil perhaps, because of the white doves that flew from the grain? I'm not very familiair with Iranian symbolism so please explain to me if you can.

"The willow sees the heron's image upside down" from 'Sans Soleil'

Yes plz someone from Iran kindly describe these scenes....

-Why bashu was beating the drum madly when Naiijan fell ill? (Naiijan also started bizarre movements) and next day she was cured ???

-That witch in black clothes whom bashu saw so often and who showed Naiijan the way in a scene??

-The ending..

reply

The woman in black is Bashu's mother.

The trance-like movements may be attributed to some kind of Zaar ritual. See link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fann_at-Tanbura
