Could anybody predict that in 2015 almost everybody would be obese?

I don't think anyone realized it would get this bad, not even Robert Zemeckis.
Which brings up this question: If they would have filmed BTTF 2 with everybody being obese in 2015, would this have been shocking enough to movie-goers in 1989 to prevent it from actually happening?

you would kinda think with all of the junk foods they down pizza hut, pepsi...etc in future 2015 they regularly down they're fat. But nope!!

People still had to do a lot of walking. And aerobics were big in the 1980's.

It wouldn´t have prevented anything. It´s the same for cigarette smokers. How many people know and are told it can kill them and causes various cancers etc and people do it anyway? Same thing with obesity, most people who are obese or overweight don´t care enough to do anything about it even though they are aware of the health repercussions.
