Is it the prequel?? (LOL) Just as bloody? Should I skip it cus it's from the early 90's?
shareA L'intérieur is much creepier and more atmospheric imo. They are both bloody/gory, but the gore in Baby Blood is more humorous (I wouldn't go as far as to say "comical", but in that direction). I didn't find Baby Blood to be scary or creepy at all... but very entertaining!
Skip it. Foreign film overdubbed, cheesy violence, long stretches of nothing happening, etc...
Stick to Inside, it's a million times better, although they aren't that similar really...

shareI don't think the two movies have much in common besides being horror movies that center on pregnant women. Otherwise their tones and themes and plots are completely different. It never occurred to me to compare the two until I saw this thread.
Baby Blood is much more of a black comedy. It accentuates the parasitic nature of pregnancy and a passionate disgust for horny men. Even the 'normal' people in Baby Blood are loonies.
Inside didn't appeal to me that much because it felt... shallow... but Baby Blood, while being a bit of a ridiculous mess ala films like Brain Damage and Basket Case, does have a bit of depth to it if you pay attention.
Inside is much better and alot gorier although this isn't that bad... I'd give it 5/10 being generous.
