Film is much better than a "5.8"... most people reviewed R-Rated version

This film has to be seen in it's entirety... the "censored" US R-Rated VHS of this film but titled "The Evil Within" is missing most of the violence and gore.

The Anchor Bay 2006 DVD contains the full uncut version... unfortunately, it's long OOP and carries a steep price for potential buyers.

Just finished this myself and I couldn't agree more. 5.8 is just too low and reading some of the comments it's really surprising as late as 2013 that people are still watching the Dubbed and I believe, cut version.

French with Subtitles are the way to go if you want to watch this film the way as intended.
