Why is it rated R?!

Hey, I have a question to anybody who's seen this movie. First of all, I've heard it's pretty bad, but I just want to know anyway. Okay, for anyone who has seen it, can you tell me why it is rated R? I have been searching everywhere even in filmratings.com and it doesn't say why it is. Can someone tell me? Thanks.

It's rated R because of bad language. One character does nothing but cuss for pretty much the whole movie. No nudity, or anything like that. Awful, awful movie. If Dreamcatcher didn't exist, it would be the worst ever.

Really? I thought that any movie says the f-word more than three times gets an R rating. I honestly don't see what the big deal of it is. I mean I hear (and yes even mention) the f-word just about every single day, so I'm used to it. It's amazing how film ratings are so darn important here in the U.S. And we see sexuality everywhere on TV, too.

But, yeah, back to the movie. (Sorry to change the topic a bit) I've heard it's pretty awful, about 20 times worse than the other Adam Sandler films (Don't get me wrong, I like Adam, I just hear it from other people) and just boring. I've thought of buying or renting it, but since everyone says it's quite terrible and say that I will wish I never in my life ever saw it, I won't. So anyone who've mentioned that you have saved me...LOL.

In response you your sentence about sexual stuff everywhere:

"It seems today, that all you see, it violence in movies, and sex on tv."
"But where are those good, old-fashioned values. On which we used to rely. Lucky there's a Family Guy......." yeah, you probably know the rest.

"I'm about to get medievil on your @$$."
