DVD and/or Blu-ray, please ...

What is this ...1999? This is one of the more important Hungarian films & yet only available on VHS (used at that).

Come on, Criterion or Second Run ...hell, even Facets ...anyone! Release this worthy film.

I agree! I keep checking Netflix, but nothing!

I actually bought my copy 'brand new', still in plastic on Amazon several years ago. But yes, very odd that VHS is the only format available. I don't even own a VHS player currently. Every copy of the film in existence must be nearly twenty-five years old by now, with no re-issue.

Az En XX Szazadom is on DVD. it was released by MNFA (Magyar Nemzeti Filmarchivum aka Hungarian National Film Archive)

the movie looks very nice, has English subtitles, and comes with a full-length commentary and a short film (extras are Hungarian language only)

I bought it brand new at a DVD store in Budapest
