I think by far this is one of the greatest films of all time.

It is indeed very underrated. It's one of those films that got a bad rap because it was fashionable at one time, probably because of all the problems during production. But it has nothing to do with the film itself, which is actually very, very good. I enjoyed it tremendously when I saw it the first time (almost 20 years ago) and I still enjoy it today.

I wish there had been several more movies like this with him starring as the Baron. It would have made an incredible series of films (if highly expensive).
