Switched it off after 50 minutes.

I didn't want to waste any more of my life on it. Even typing this I have wasted 1 minute.

to each their own. It was my very favorite movie for over a decade and I still have it in my top ten.

and hey if you didn't like the first 50 I doubt you'd like the rest - it has the worst ending of any movie I love :)

Then you missed the drowning and resuscitation scenes, or one of the best five minute segments in movie history. Your loss.

I know it sounds odd, but it gets better and WAY better as it goes along - ya gotta get past 50 minutes. But then again, I really liked all of it, so maybe you're just not gonna like it.

Same! I can't take any more constant yelling and ***SUSPENSE***!!! It's exhausting. That annoying woman finally fried my last fucking nerve and I turned it off. I don't even care what happens.
