cannot praise it enough,great as a whole,some parts less impressive.

This thing is so big and long it is bound to have weak parts but as a whole it is very impressive.

It is tempting to question the whole basis of the story,individual fictional stories bolted onto real events,but it is a good way to tell the story of World War 2.

The soap opera aspects of the story have to be endured but I don't find they overshadow the story.

If like me you are a war film obsessive you have to give this a chance,it requires a lot of money and time but you might find you love it like I do.
