Who thought this was a grim but well done episode with a nice performance by Mimi Rogers and who thought Kathy Ireland was hot? i dug her since i was a young boy and i was 11 when i saw this episode on HBO and the ending shocked me as it was quite sick but funny even with the singing guy saying she is the winner of Miss Autopsy.

I loved this episode. Mimi Rogers is a favorite of mine and yes, Kathy Ireland was very hot. The episode had a great twist ending. It could be seen as a companion piece to Top Billing with Jon Lovitz. This was the female version with a woman trying to climb her way to the top and murdering her competition only to get her comeuppance. One scene that sticks out to me besides the ending reveal is when she is taken to that room in the basement or whatever and strapped down and they smear lipstick on her face. The creepy music on this show always let you know bad things were going to happen.

Good episode with what is probably one of the most genuinely disturbing endings of the series.
shareI agree on that but did you think the ending was also darkly funny with the emcee guy singing a song about her autopsy? and does it remind you of a HG Lewis movie at the end or a Hostel film or a Nekromantik movie?
Yet what was it with the guys going "Awww" and "oooh" at the end then everyone cheered? was it a Halloween pageant and everyone thinks Miss Autopsy was a Halloween gimmick to make people think it was fake when she was actually murdered?

I find this episode disturbing in the sense something like that pageant seems like something that could exist in our world. With the sickos who exist in it it doesn't seem like a stretch at all.
