The recent episodes are AWFUL.

s34E3 is ABSOLUTELY AWFUL. The episode writers are clearly trying to mimic 22 short stories about Springfield but the episode has nothing to do with the actual description of the episode. I really just don't feel good about even watching this anymore. It's like torturing people who were a part of my family and forcing me to watch. I definitely noticed how heavy-handed the government propaganda is on the show generally in the episodes that have been on so far. I don't even pay to watch the show, but I don't think I'm going to even download it anymore because this is too much for me to handle.
