I don't think Flanders was flanderized

People say before season 10, he was just a normal guy who happened to be religious, and after season 10, he was nothing but a religious lunatic. Well I think he was always a good guy, but he was also always a religious lunatic. In Homer the Heretic, in season 4, he constantly stalked and harassed Homer over his religious beliefs, including chasing him in his car.
