The dreck outweighs the good stuff

After something like, what, 30 seasons of The Simpsons, it's just a shame that only the first third is any good at all, perhaps only a quarter at best. At least Futurama came to a dignified end and stayed gone, but the Simpsons has just gone on and on and on, crap after crap after crap. I mean, it's shown on Channel 4 in the UK all the time (it used to be the BBC, but they only showed the first 10 or so seasons all the time) and I try a few of these later episodes, and I just think they're stupid and really UNfunny.
