When did you start watching this show?

And when you stopped watching it since or are you still watching it? Is this still good?

I started once in 2014 or 2015, but stopped after season 6.

When it was on the Tracey Ullman Show, and then Season 1 Episode 1 in 1989.
I stopped watching in 2000. The show went strongly downhill in 1999.
Season 9 (1997-98) is 50/50.
Season 10 (1998-99) mostly horrible, with a couple of good episodes.
Season 11 (1999-2000) is abominable, and I was forced to give up on a show that remains one of my favorite things ever.

Wow, that's quite interesting! You haven't seen this show 20 years ago? Maybe I would give it a chance of watching a couple of seasons. I've heard fans says 12 season is last good season.

Because I gave up early in the decline, I have (mostly) fond memories of the Simpsons. I still re-watch the classic episodes. I wouldn't want to tarnish the quality of the series in my mind by watching scores of inferior episodes (think how much more highly Star Wars would be regraded if the Prequel and Sequel trilogies were never made).

There were plenty of hilarious episodes in the 2000s. At the end of that decade it took a huge plunge in quality.

I can't imagine how sensitive you must be. Do you only watch Pixar movies outside of The Simpsons?

Around 1994-1995, I began watching. I followed closely around 1997-2000. Beginning 2001, I started gradually losing interest.

I haven’t watched since 2003-2004. I don’t know anyone personally who still watches it today (unless you count people who rewatch the older episodes).

IN 1989 ON TRACY ULLMAN....I STILL WATCH IT...ALL THESE PEOPLE SAYING ITS TRASH OR WENT WAY DOWNHILL...EVEN WITH A SHARP DECLINE OVER THE YEARS...ITS STILL ONE OF THE BEST SHOWS ON TELEVISION...PEOPLE JUST LOVE TO HATE AND SAVAGE.

i think 1997 or 98. I think the first episode I saw was "Lemon of Troy".... not exactly the best lol. I dont think I was hooked until I saw "City of New York vs Homer Simpson". Im gettin old, I was um over the age of 10 at the time but not a teenager (hate giving exact age to strangers)

Haha, I remember Lemon of Troy. It was kind of boring episode that made me want to give up, a few episodes after that episode I gave up.

Originally started watching the show during it's second season. I believe I kept track of it up until season 10 and just stopped watching...not because I lost interest but because I was growing up and found other things to do during the time it was on...or because I wanted to watch something else.

I recently sat down and watched season 11 and season 12 just to see if the show had completely lost it by then and much to my surprise, there were still many episodes in those two season that still had that Simpsons Charm to them.

My plan now is to continue watching them until I'm caught up and I really want to find that point when the show completely lost it.

around 2015 from season 1 watch the unedited version download on my PC I am now upto season 17 Bart destroyed the school and messed with the pumps and steam in the last one I saw
