Springfield up and the series finale

Springfield up was on the fxx marathon a bit ago and I had this epiphany

What a great setup for a series finale

I imagine it being an hour long beginning with the documentary filmmaker making his final trip
To Springfield with everyone (yes really) several years older as he along with his subjects reflect on their lives and how they all turned out leading into the premire of the film with everyone watching and reminiscing as (with a montage of classic moments thrown in) we the audience do as well remebing fondly all the times weve had in Springfield over the years

I think itd be a great end to the legacy when the final season finally inevitably comes
