The one thing they were spot on with in the Australian episode


Was the ultra-weird culture (or lack of, really). The "Hurt Feelings of Australia" gag is spot on. And there's something hilariously relatable to the "convicts" gag. Speaking an an Aussie, we are definitely sons and daughters of convicts!

Not all of us are descended from convicts. There were a lot of law-abiding migrants who came over from the British Isles in the mid-nineteenth century, and from whom I descend.

Always loved that episode, I actually learned more about Australian slang and culture than I did in school.

That episode was so childish. The writers were clearly offended by that dumb, American kid (rightfully) being punished for being a punk in Singapore. No idea why they had to take it out on a different country. It was not lighthearted mockery of stereotypes. The episode had a very nasty tone. Pathetic, really.
