What music were they into?

Ive always wondered what type of music; singers/bands the shows characters were into. What do you think?

Probably your typical late 80s/early 90s pop staples: George Michael, New Kids on the Block, Hammer (Lisa was confirmed to be a fan of him), Madonna, Paula Abdul, etc.

Remember kids, dressing up like Hitler in school isn't cool!

Zack definitely went down in my estimation when he had a UB40 poster on his wall haha, what a dweeb. Hopefully just a phase. He did like The Bangles, though, so he had good taste.

In the College series, they were into pearl jam and that grunge dirge.

He was my C.O. in Nam. CIA listed him as MIA but the V.A. ID'd his M.O. and put out an APB.

I think when Zack sent Screech into the girls' locker room to switch their tapes to ones with subliminal messages, the artist was The Beach Boys.

I remember Kelly having 2 tickets to a George Michael concert and couldn't choose whether to go with Zack or Slater
In the mall episode they made Screech wait in line for U2 tickets
Remember Stevie and her uber-80s mega hit 'hotline to your heart' from the Miss Bliss episodes?
I'm surprised they didn't make a few more fake singers like they did the fake actor expys - Johnny Dakota (Johnny Depp) Storm Sutherland (Kiefer Sutherland), Luke Diamond (Lou Diamond Phillips) etc that would have been kinda fun

Jesse's stepbrother likes the Misfits. When he took over Jesse's room he had a poster of theirs on the wall. I think Motörhead too, but it's been a while.

The one bully, Scuz (or was it Moose?) wears a Slayer t-shirt in one episode.

And I'm almost certain there's a Bangles poster in Zack's room, at least at some point. Bangles, really, Zack? Lol

You got the wrong guy, mang. I don't come off no banana boat.
