The discontinuity Skatting 3 eps + Shampoo
The skating challenge is season 2 but in the story it comes before so how would you place the episodes.

someone here said that because they had low ratings in season one, they decided to do the Shampoo arc before the ice skating one. I don't think it matters that much how you view them, although if you're really concerned just watch the ice skating one first.

I don't know what order the episodes were shown in on Japanese TV, but I really wish Viz had placed the skating episodes with the Golden Pair just before the episode where Shampoo makes her debue. I mean there's a part in the first Shampoo story arc (can't remember which exact episode) where Akane flashes back to a scene that happened during their fight with Mikado and Azusa. This makes no sense if the Shampoo episodes come before the Golden Pair ones.
