First good English Dub?

I must say considering its time that Ranma's English dub is actually good.we also got Dragon Ball Z and Sailor Moon in the late 90s,both had bad dubs but have gotten good dubs in recent years. I think dubs are generally much better now.

I thought Ranma had good voice acting and the scripts were not dumbed down I can't think of any dubs from around this time that were good,was this first good one?

I love the english dub, in fact it's one of the few animes where I prefer the english dub. it has so many flaws, including the changing of voice actors that disctracts sometimes, some important lines are lost in the dubbing but by God it always sounds so natural to me. I've seen so many animes where the english dub always sounds like someone acting to me and not natural of the character. Not to say they're not good, it just doesn't work for me and in the Ranma 1/2 case I worship it!
