Anyone remember an episode with bookends in it?

It's just a vague memory I've got from childhood; I didn't watch the show much but I have hazy memories of an episode that was something to do with bookends.

The image in my head of of carved wooden ones, but it's so hazy that may not be the case. I remember the episode having a big effect on me at the time but I can't even remember why; I'd love to see it again to figure out why the mental image has stayed with me for so long.

Can anyone shed any light, or am I confusing this with another show?

I just watched this today. I never knew of this program as a kid but I stumbled upon this episode and saw it had Dexter Fletcher in it so watched it. Yea I was really surprised when I saw your post!! It's one of the few episodes on youtube unfortunately.

Don't worry, from what I remember the rest wasn't brilliant! But that episode was great. Cool to see Julia Sawalha and Dexter Fletcher again.
