Too bad it took so long to get to the last episode, with the union strike, it was getting good. A second season would have done well, but too many filler episodes made the show lose momentum. The last episode really pulls you back.
I enjoyed some of the other episodes, but the pilot and the last episode were my favorite.
I remember wanting to see more when it came out back in '90, but I was newly married and trying to get along with my "adult" life. Now, at 47, I can catch up on Youtube and wonder what a season 2 would have been. It wasn't a bad show, but the target audience had to go past fans of the novel (and tie in'). Really sad to see the fate of 3 of the cast members as well.
