this was good,out on dvd in UK now March 2007
I loved this when it was in tv a few years ago.
Historically accurate and well made this series was very watchable and educational.
It is now out on DVD in Britain,I saw it in HMV today,£16.
Britain has all the luck! At least for this sort of thing...Curse you region coding on DVDs!
shareI have a vhs copy that never was very good quality and is about worn out. I hope it'll come out here in the USA someday. Shirer is one the most impressive historians I know of (regarding WW2 and Nazi Germany) and TNY one of my favotite books by him.
shareI bought what I thought was both parts (seems like a fair assumption) on ebay on VHS, but the shister gave me only part one and wouldn't refund. Lame. I didn't want to watch and be left hanging, so I haven't seen the thing yet.
