Has anyone seen the Animal Planet version?

Hello

Has anyone seen the version that used to be on Animal Planet? It was made in 1997 or 1998 and the first season of this series is now available on dvd in Canada. It can be ordered at Amazon.ca and the dvd is region 1. I would just like to know what people think of this series and if it is any good.

Was this the series that starred Corey Sevier as Lassie's human companion? I used to watch it on tv and thought it was excellent. Its a wonderful family show.
