May to December theme song

Does anybody know the title or origins of the theme for this show? I was just watching the movie "Nervous Ticks" and the same music was played as Bill Pullman dashed through the airport. Nervous Ticks cam out in 1992 so the song was played in the tv show first. I don't know if it was original to the tv show or if they got it from somewhere else?

The title of the song is September Song. It's written by Kurt Weill (music) and Maxwell Anderson for the broadway musical Knickerbocker Holiday in 1938.
