Actually, 8-14.
And, all my family watches it. I love it, i'm 20. By 18 year old brother loves it.
And, he made it so that it was more 'suitable for all ages' rather than just for children.

Remember Maid Marian and Her Merry Men?

Its good for everyone: the kids just like the stories and stuff and the adults like the "deeper" humour and the innuendoes... its hilarious!

Some programmes, despite being hugely entertaining when you're 6 or 7, become embarrassing when you reach adulthood. Not so with 'Maid Marian'. If anything I find 'Maid Marian' even funnier now that I'm 20 than I did when I was 7. It contains so many anachronisms, culture references and puns that went over my head when I was little. It's certainly not just for kids, and I love the fact that it's entertaining and funny without being patronising.

Of course they've brought forth juniper berries, they're juniper bushes!

Maid Marian and her Merry Men is wasted on kids...!

its one of those programmes where kids and adults see different things in it, I love it and I'm 22

Yeah, I'm 25 & I agree with you. It's great fun to reminisce (whenever I watch, I remember sitting cross-legged right in front of the TV with my baby brother!) but you do 'get it' a bit more.

I must admit I do have a soft spot for HM, but most kids' shows these days are complete rubbish - okay, not that I watch many (or any, really) but the ones I see ads for or catch glimpses of when I switch on the TV look utter tripe. Most of them seem to be remakes (& bad ones too) of classics. Hope your sister does give it a chance.
