I don't understand the attraction the ladies have to Gus. It's a romance for sure and kind of a dreamy thing I suppose. All the time are these love triangles and fighting over another. Elmira, Dee, and July. Gus, Lorie and Clara. Yeah I know they're more complicated than what looks, I just feel for the composure Call gives off and his simplicity, like when he was speaking after Newt was gifted a horse, "Women". Of course, humor plays a big part and Gus it seems could tickle them.

It's not like he's ugly or anything. But more importantly, he's manly, honorable, brave, gentlemanly, and has a hell of a lot of charisma.

True, I don't fault the opposite sex or how they're depicted. Jake was young, handsome and strong perhaps on the rougher side. So it made biological sense to choose him as a future mate. Romance is a crazy thing, oh but they'll make out and all eventually.
