How can I access the Closed Caption feature on the DVD?

Under Audio Set Up, it just has English 5.1, French Stereo, and Spanish Stereo. When I use the CC feature on the DVD remote control, nothing comes up yet the back of the box for the Lonesome Dove dvd says Closed Captioning.

Is it a mistake, or am I missing something?
