could Flash have inspired Boomhaur?

According to Muppet Wiki, Flash often mumbled. So I'm wondering, could Mike Judge have been thinking about Flash when he created Boomhaur on King of the Hill? After all, both characters had blonde hair, and both seemed to have similar head shapes.
