Now on YouTube

After years of getting episodes of The Jim HEnson Hour up online, it is finally coming. Sorry about the delay at Stage6, it wasn't uploading very well and the epsidoes never made it. At this time though, before I do episodes, I'm simply uploading the never-before-seen pilot and pitch tape. THe links will be posted here. Enjoy!

What you're doing is so great. Do you plan on uploading the "Secrets of the Muppets" episode?

reply

Yes. After Garbage goes up.

Alright! Thank you.

Now, all the episodes are on YouTube. Seeing how big of a hassel it is to post all the links here, find them via search engine.

Bad news

Dog City got removed due to copyrighted claims. Watch the series while you can.

reply

Was it only Dog City that got removed? Because Henson owns the rights to several other specials shown as part of The Jim Henson Hour, including Song of the Cloud Forest, Monster Maker, Living with Dinosaurs, Lighthouse Island, and all of The StoryTeller episodes (and every StoryTeller episode is currently available on DVD).

reply

Dog City and Song of the Cloud Forrest.

The rest is safe for now......

If only Dog City and Cloud Forest, then I wouldn't be surprised if Hit! was the one responsible for those being removed. Hit! has a distribution deal with Henson (which expires sometime this year) to release Henson's family programs on DVD, and those two are included in the deal. I think most of the creature shop stuff aren't included in the deal (Sony still has the video rights to The StoryTeller, for example, as well as The Dark Crystal).
