Anybody Else ?

Am I the only person that remebers this flawed but fun show?

reply

No you're not! I loved this show when it aired, and just recently watched it again. It's still funny and a great show after all these years.

I just knew this show existed, I would talk to other people and they would all just look at me like I'm an idiot. Maybe I am an idiot for even remembering. Now that I have found it ... my life is still empty.

I LOVED this show--& I was 38 when it debuted. It was terribly funny. Like '3rd Rock from the Sun'--it was sly commentary on the human condition, as seen thru the eyes of a newcomer--& frequently misinterpreted.
Jesse's armor @ the beginning was supposed to be the armor of 'The Predator'. I read that the 2 shows were produced by one of the same people. Michael Piller, who created Deep Space 9 & Voyager, was the head writer here.
It's a long shot, but I'm voting for it to be released on DVD. Here's the link. http://www.tvshowsondvd.com/showinfo.cfm?showID=1549

I was 9 years old when this show debuted, and I loved it. Even after the show ended, everytime I saw the actor that played him, I would say, "Look, it's Jesse!" Yes, I am lame.

ok so i saw this show in a country where show usually come when no where else in the world would play them. so we had this show. And it was watched as a good action comedy and what not. though i would never understand the comedy cause at that time i couldnt understand eng. that well.

Anyway i thought 3rd rock was the most funniest show and unique show. Until now. I just happen to go to a poll at scifi channel website and i saw this show name there and i suddenly remember.

This show was the real unique thing. I would love to see it again.

Great story Sobank. I too would like to see it again. I'm sure your fluency in English today would enable you to really appreciate the comedy. It's like the iconic M*A*S*H; no matter how many times you watch an episode you find something to laugh at that you missed before.

Even today when something doesn't go quite right I catch myself saying 'Negative outcome. Not good!' I was a big fan. Loved the show.

For years and years this show would resurface in my memory with a "got to try and find the name of that show" note tagged to it. Every time I would forget. Tonight, it's a completely different story! Thank you The Internet, and thank you IMDB. Another nostalgic mystery put to rest. Now, if i can only find these two shows Sidekicks and Wizard. Or was it called Magic...?

I've really liked this show as a kid too! I'm so happy I finally found out it's name! Such a shame that they canceled it so soon, I would have loved to have seen more of it.

Yes, i definitely watched this show. Saw every episode, although the only one i remember is the DISNEYLAND ep that is mentioned here.

It had a cool opening with his armor and stuff, i always hoped we'd get to see him back in that at some point.

And the robot was cool.
