Am I the only one who doesn't like the little girl?

She seems unrealistic and doesn't seem to be necessary for the show's mature theme. It seems like a 12-year-old has written her to make the series more kid-friendly. I wish Amy Rose would come and kick her butt.

I hope that there is an Evangelion video game where you can beat Asuka up!

She served as something of a bond between Nadia and Jean, especially right after they found her. As time went on, however, she started to remind me of Elmira from "Tiny Toon Adventures" (not necessarily the best association).

The final episode more than made/brought her role in the show full circle.

That and I wish more anime had as thorough and satisfying an ending as this one did. All too often they end a series where it's just barely scratching the surface of a presumed happy ending, if at all. And then we're told to "read the manga!" if you want to know what happens...
